Day 1: The Journey Begins | Islamabad to Jaglot or Gilgit

  • Our adventure starts in the middle of the night. We gather our travel family in Islamabad at 1:00 AM midnight. For our friends joining from Lahore, Karachi, or other cities, please ensure you arrive in Islamabad by midnight to board the coaster.
  • We will take the scenic Naran route, driving through the green hills of Kaghan. We’ll arrive in Naran in the morning for breakfast and a short rest. Afterward, we continue our journey, making stops at the peaceful Lulusar Lake and the high Babusar Top to take in the views. We aim to reach Jaglot or Gilgit by evening. After a long day of travel, we’ll check into our hotel for dinner and rest. Throughout the day, we will stop for all prayers and encourage everyone to pray together in Jamaat.

Day 2: Entering Hunza | Forts and Royal Gardens

  • We start our day with Fajr prayer, where the fresh mountain air makes the morning feel special. After a short session of Quranic reminders and teachings of the Prophet SAW, we have breakfast and head toward the heart of Hunza.
  • Our first major stop is the Rakaposhi View Point, where you can see the massive peak standing right in front of you. Once in Hunza, we will explore the historic Baltit Fort and the peaceful Altit Fort. We’ll also stroll through Altit village and relax in the royal gardens. You will have free time in the evening to shop in Karimabad or just enjoy the magic of the valley. We’ll spend the night in Hunza, keeping our hearts connected through prayer.

Day 3: The Roof of the World | China Border & Attabad Lake

  • After Fajr and our morning Quran session, we hit the Karakoram Highway for a classic road trip day. Our first stop is the turquoise Attabad Lake, where you can choose to go boating or jet skiing. Next, we’ll visit the famous Hussaini Suspension Bridge, it’s a great challenge to walk across!
  • We then drive all the way to Khunjerab Pass, the highest paved border in the world. You’ll see glaciers, high peaks, and maybe even some wild marmots. Because the border is at a high altitude, the oxygen is thin and it stays very cold, so please keep yourself covered. We return to Hunza in the evening for dinner and rest.

Day 4: Heading to Skardu | The Red Roof Resort

  • Following our morning prayer and teaching session, we pack up and head toward Skardu. We will take the road through Jaglot and make a quick scenic break at Astak Nala.
  • Upon arriving in Skardu, our first stop is the famous Shangrila Resort, known for its picture-perfect red-roof cottages around a heart-shaped lake. We will also walk to Upper Kachura Lake, a beautiful natural spot where you can enjoy the water or just sit by the shore. We’ll stay the night in Skardu and observe all our prayers together.

Day 5: Waterfalls and Valleys

  • After Fajr and breakfast, we drive through the beautiful Kharmang Valley. Our destination is the stunning Manthoka Waterfall. It is a great place to have tea, take photos, and feel the power of the falling water.
  • If time allows, we will also visit the peaceful Khamosh Waterfall and take a short detour to the Cold Desert of Skardu, where sand dunes sit right next to snow-capped mountains. We return to our hotel in Skardu for dinner and our second night stay.

Day 6: The High Plateau | Deosai National Park

  • Today is an adventure day! After an early breakfast, we transfer to 4x4 jeeps to visit the Deosai Plains, one of the highest plateaus in the world. We will pass by Sadpara Lake and cross the streams of Barapani and Kalapani.
  • The highlight of the day is Sheosar Lake. Standing in the middle of this vast, high-altitude wilderness will make you feel the majesty of the Creator. Please wear warm jackets today as the wind in Deosai can be very cold. We return to Skardu in the evening for dinner and a well-earned rest.

Day 7: The Long Drive Back

  • After our morning Fajr and Quran session, we begin our return journey toward Naran. We will stop again at the junction where the three great mountain ranges meet and cross Babusar Top once more.
  • We expect to reach Naran by evening. You’ll have a little time to explore the bazaar one last time before we settle into our hotel for a cozy night’s stay. As always, we will observe all our prayers throughout the day and encourage everyone not to miss any Salah.

Day 8: Final Goodbyes | Naran to Islamabad

  • On our last morning, we have our final breakfast in the mountains. We begin our drive back through the Kaghan Valley and Balakot. We’ll make scenic breaks and prayer stops along the way to keep our spirits high.
  • We expect to arrive back in Islamabad by evening. The trip ends here, but we hope the memories and the spiritual lessons you learned stay with you forever. We hope this journey has helped you see the world with a heart closer to Allah.
